Used to be a great place. Not it is terrible. Always out of things. Went to the deli at 850pm and they said they were closed. I asked what time they closed and they said 9pm. But they already cleaned the slicers so no more lunch meat would be sliced. Horribly rude employees. Looking at other reviews it seems this store is headed down the drain
Run and never use this store. This is my 1st time using the Anderson store. My click list order was delayed. Then when I went to pick it up I've been stuck waiting in line for 2 hours. Stuck unable to pull forward or move back. The manager of the store could have cared less. I plan to complain to corporate tomorrow.
This store is massive, it feels like a warehouse, no longer upscale just big, plain. Yet. Despite its size, the selection is awful, 1 or a couple major brands and then several versions of the Kroger brand. Constantly out of everything you actually need. The store layout is horribly unintuitive and when you can’t find something the size of the store makes it an awful experience tracking it down. The self checkout, despite Kroger pioneering the tech is frustrating to say the least. The scanners are unresponsive and it constantly stopping you and calling for help, which is often slow to arrive. Often no human checkout is available. The carts are also a craps shoot. This store is a mystery… I’ve never actually been irritated by the experience of shopping at a grocery store - Publix, Fresh Market, Meijer, Sprouts… all pleasant, reasonable to navigate, often upscale. I used to like Kroger at least as much before I moved away. What happened?
I have zero idea why the people who do the shopping for online orders can’t get everything that’s on the list. Things I know are in stock, because I have to immediately go back into the store and purchase them—typically after already going home and seeing vital parts of recipes were not fulfilled. So, this thing I do to save time ends up costing twice as much time because now I have to go back to the store and go get things myself. The things are never out of stock, they’re always on the shelves, so I’m not sure why the shoppers can’t just give me all my groceries in one trip. Also, the store is so freaking massive that it’s a pain to do in store shopping. I’m trying to get groceries, not walk a freaking marathon.
EVERY time I put in a pick- up order for a specific time frame I get a text telling me they’re running behind and can I pick up during the next time frame which is inconvenient. plus my orders are often missing an item. They don’t have enough help at this store, plus they hire more kids than adults, and the kids just don’t care about doing a good job. You see other Kroger stores where more adults are employed and are in the union so they care more about doing a good job, as they are Kroger ‘Lifers’. Maybe I should start picking up orders at other stores then?
This is one of the best Kroger locations in the area. They have a massive selection of goods, the staff is very friendly, and the store has one of their more modern designs, so it's simply fun to shop here. They have a jewelry store, bank, and Starbucks in the store, so lots of extras if you need they services.
You are not able to customize a deli order. Their deli selection for trays are horrible. Turkey, ham and American cheese. Applies to sandwiches and tea sandwiches.
I visit this store every week. But yesterday it was my first time to be there for wine tasting. And it turned to the amazing time with amazing people. Sarah, bartender, was such a sweetheart! She took care about everybody and made sure we were happy. Also Kroger chef cooks different appetizers each Friday. Yesterday we had salmon rolls. I had wonderful time. Thank you Kroger!
There was a code 19 in location 74 while i was in location 73. That was two weeks ago and I'm still having nightmares about it... about what happened to my family during a code 19.... Not safe. Will not go back.
Taylor the cashier was so rude.. I said hi and she ignored me.. she snatched and bagged my groceries like she mad at them.. when I said thank you once again not a word.. I like the variety of food here so I have it two stars.. Taylor, if you hate your job, get a new one. Customers didn’t fill out your application for you. Have some pride in your work.
